Sanitorium.P2 Conclusion (Essie, Peter, Jimmy, Riche) 5pm Thursday, Feb 14th, 1924 : Peter unlocked the double-doors to the first-floor patient hallway. Richie reported, “No luggage as Captain Ebenezer never made it up. I could see the boat skuttled and sinking. Looks like we’re stuck here awhile.” Peter revealed their own find, “We were just on our way upstairs to the doctor’s office. Maybe we can find Phillip and the doctor up there!” 2 nd Floor, East Wing : They climbed the stairs in the foyer. Peter took the time to check out the 3 northern rooms which proved to be empty and prepared for their overnight stay. “Let’s check all the rooms; don’t want any surprises from behind us.” The southern rooms proved to be the staff’s rooms. Sanitorium.P1

Sanitorium (Essie, Peter, Jimmy, Riche) noon Wednesday, Feb 13th, 1924 : Dr. Harold Tiller (MU Medical Dept), asked Essie to bring her team in. He rose from his desk, displaying his leg in a cast, “I’m so glad you could come. Dr. Armitage speaks highly of us. As you can see, I’m temporarily hobbled. Anyway, my good friend, Dr. Aldous Brewer asked for my presence at his North Island Sanitorium to help verify his research. While he stipulated in the article his findings are purely speculative at this point (requires more experimental testing), two other psychologists have lambasted him in that same magazine. While my friend asked for me, I was hoping with your acclaimed investigative results, you  could stand in for me and verify Dr. Brewer’s findings.” Per Essie’s request, Harold dug into his desk and produced both the invite letter an...

Truth or Consequences

Truth or Consequences (Essie, Peter, Jimmy) Saturday, 22 Dec 1923 : Peter invites the group to his grandmother’s house up in Bolton for Christmas dinner. Peter locked his office safe and desk before calling the switchboard operator, “Wanda, forward all calls to Phillip’s house. I’m letting my secretary Marina work from home for the holidays.” As Essie locked her front door, she was startled by her neighbor (Mr. Bernard Corbitt), “Mrs. Vance, I couldn’t help but notice you leaving for the holidays. I thought you might like this basket of vegetables for your Christmas dinner. I’ll keep a watch on your house. If any of those wackoes from across the street (Arkham Sanitorium) escape, I’ll make sure they don’t break into your house.” Essie thanked the kindly man as she handed him her house-key, “Bernard, you’re always neighborly. Have a great holiday yourself.” She climbed into Peter’s car. Across town, Jimmy grabbed his overcoat before heading out of the Northside speakeasy, “OK Franki...
