We’re more interested in the unknown you encountered. Tell us about that.” Over the next months, Richard made it a point to find Essie and the others to pick their brains. At one point, Essie caught Riche staring at her missing pinky finger, which she quickly tried to hide. Riche apologized, “I’m sorry. His own last images were him plucking a few pollywogs to add to his witch’s cauldron he stirred, ignoring the bat wing that rose to the surface. Peter  stirred the embers in his office fireplace, as he burned the files on his parents' murder case, officially closing that dark chapter in his life.
